had a little property a little south, in a different zone.
we would can peaches, and tomatoes, and tomato juice.
we blanched them both like that, and i loved pulling the skins off.

it beat grinding hot peppers in the meat grinder for the home made chili sauce my dad put on everything.

did grape jelly, too.
