I don't have kids, but I can totally relate to the itchy sweaters. A cousin bought me a very heavy wool sweater for Christmas one year. I took one photo in it to show her, and promptly donated it.

This so reminds me of clothes and footwear I had to wear when I was little. They were always so impractical and frequently uncomfortable. It's like children's clothing designers have never had to dress an actual child before.
