The most amazing drone holographic light show in China Cool!

It is amazing what they can do with drones flying in computer controlled formations with colored lights.

Eye candy! It looks like a potential contender for fireworks if this keeps up.

A bonus show from another source and this is only 100 drones.

The accuracy is incredible. I would like to see a show like this live. They are fun to watch.

Sorry, edited to have the RIGHT link.

They sure get a lot of mileage out of the number of drones used so far. I could imagine that a higher resolution "picture" is possible in the future. And it's 3D, too.

I had no idea such a thing was possible. Imagine the extravagant UFO hoaxes one could perpetrate with a fleet of drones?

I thought that, too. You can see cars going by in behind the trees in the second one. That must have been an interesting sight for the motorists.

Oh, and I think we are looking at something symbolic of the future in general here. We have the magic to control the four elements more and more now, so we may just think of it as technology, but the effect may be the same as a wizard's wand at some point.
