I have an app where I put in everything I eat and it tells me how many calories, fat, sugar and sodium. I just try not to go over a certain amount of each every day. Most of the time, I go over my sugar amount but I'm working on it. I also have been eating more veggies, less pastries and drinking water instead of juice or soda. I have been exercising as well. The weight is coming off slowly which is fine by me.

cancer cells who can't live without sugar. And the connection with dementia. And my father has full blown dementia so I have a 50% chance it's in my DNA -- that got me off my ass pretty quickly. Do what you can in your own way and godspeed!

I never smoked a cigarette in my life but I understand that quitting smoking can be tough. Also, think of all the money that you have saved in just 45 days.

My father and stepfather both gave up smoking in their 30s before I was born. I know if they hadn't, they would probably not both be in excellent health at almost 80.

It was in October and it was well-attended by our Class of '69 classmates.

Ran into a guy who's single (longtime divorced) and I'm also single (longtime divorced). Suddenly we looked at each other with stars in our eyes. "Oh look at you!" "Oh my gosh, look at you!" This guy and I had literally known each other for 50+ years and never had been attracted before. Now we're going out and all the signs are good. We're planning on ringing in the New Year together!

It sounds simple, but it wasn't. We needed the right person for the job, cuz our architecture is weird.
