have a nice large glass of iced tea or, if conditions are different, have a nice cup of hot tea. No calories, no fats, no sugars, and no caffeine if you prefer -- and very filling. But this late at night, you may have to get up later to .......

Yes, I know you are...so am I.

What I do at a moment like this is eat something extremely healthy.

Do you have any apples? They make an excellent snack, and are not full of unhealthy fats.

I just wash one, cut it into quarters, and eat it.

That really helps.

I understand.

Is there anything you have the willpower to eat in very small quantities? Something with intense flavor that would satisfy?

Peggy's suggestion of an apple is good - but I'd add a few slivers of super-sharp cheddar cheese to go with it. Just enough for the apple. That gets you a lot of flavor, filled up (mostly apple) and hopefully satisfied.
