Hmmm...Joe Burrow isn't too bad, is he?

...pity that his reward is to be a Cincinnati Bengal for life. Unless, of course, Belichek gives the Bengals the Pats' first-round pick for the next ten years to get him. If so, the Pats would come out ahead on the deal...

And a once in a lifetime season for us Tiger fans! I truly hope he has success in the NFL, and I fear Cincy would spoil that talent.

As a long-time Bengals fan, The only player I can even come close to comparing him to, is the legendary Greg Cook. He played like Cook, sidestepping the rush, running when he needed to, and slinging the ball all over the field with astonishing accuracy.

I also note that Joe is the same size as Cook, 6' 4" and 216 lbs.

Bill Walsh, who was the Bengals' offensive coordinator at the time Cook won the Rookie of the Year award, called Greg Cook the most talented QB he's ever seen. Who knows how the Bengal's fortune would have turned out if Cook could have played well after being injured and Walsh had been selected as the Bengals head coach.

When (not if) Joe is drafted, I hope Zach Taylor can take some pages out of Bill Walsh's playbook and put Joe in a position to win. I hope Joe becomes the reincarnation of Greg Cook, avoiding injury, and having a storied two decade plus career as the face of the Bengals' resurgence and Super Bowl titles.

THIS WAS BAD

I asked my brother yesterday who he liked for any college games today (since I don’t keep up with them), he said OH MAN, you gotta watch LSU and Joe Burrow, and I said well, okay then

Thanks, brother!!

I just had an equally meaningless "Suggestion" to a TOON post I made last June.

in addition to being a great quarterback. I don't definitively know his politics, but he frequently talks about the people who are less fortunate than him from Ohio and helped raise $500,000 for a local food back.
