I seldom go to the movies, but I saw one that was really, really well done and fun last night.

The Movie was "Knives Out."

It's a fun updated version of an old fashioned whodunnit with some barely hidden Trump jokes in it (including a "self-made" business woman who was self made with a small loan of a million dollars) and a good bit of understated social commentary.

My sons are home for the holidays, and the four of us, my two sons and my wife, went to a late show. We all loved it.

I just thought I'd mention it.

I have family in town and this would be a good movie to do a venture out, after such a long break. Thank you for the heads up.

She is 30ish. I haven’t seen it yet, but we all went to ‘The Rise of Starwalker“ last night. It was fun, a bit corny, but it is Star Wars, after all. Lot’s of action and poignancy, strong democratic references to the Resistance, and one for all and all for one sort of stuff. Kids in the audience seemed to like it.

Unusual twists. You don't find that much anymore. I'd say more but I might spoil it.

It is unpredictable and clever. The ending is satisfying.
