a lot of set up and a bit of a slog to get through, but then they really bring it home after that and it’s scary AF.

When I saw it months ago I posted about it on DU.

It is excellent. When you watch it stick with it because the first part is the introduction that’s important in order to understand what’s been happening in DC right under our noses. Things will make sense when you finish watching.

You can take years looking into why the a Republicans do what they do, or you can watch The Family and learn the same thing.

that any of my friends and family) hadn't even heard of it!

I know all about how in the 90's right-wingers took over the am radio stations that gave us Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, etc. and contributed to the brain-washing of middle-America.

I know all about The Arkansas Project (it was real and not a conspiracy theory). The Arkansas Project was a series of investigative press reports, funded primarily by conservative businessman Richard Mellon Scaife, that focused on criticism of then-President Bill Clinton and his administration. Scaife spent nearly $2 million on the project.[1]
The investigations included the investigation of the 1970s' real estate investment that Bill and Hillary Clinton had made in a development known as Whitewater, re-opening of allegations that then Governor Bill Clinton had sexually harassed an Arkansas state employee, and a reexamination of the death of White House aide Vincent Foster which multiple official investigations had found to be a suicide.

And in 2002 David Brock, a former Conservative, wrote and released the book Blinded by the Right which details the character assassination of the Clintons (which, as we know all too well).

I'll watch The Family sometime this week....
