I finally bought a new car today. Traded in my old Nissan

for a Toyota Corolla. It's the first new car I have bought for myself since 1990. My wife always has gotten the new car and either I inherited hers or I did not need one at all.

But I'm leaning more toward an American brand - the Ford Focus, Dodge Dart, and Buick Verano are all at the top of my list.

I have no intention to buy a new, or even new used car, as I'm driving Dad's '93 Corolla wagon and expect it to last another 10 years!

BOUGHT my first and only in '79, VW Rabbit, and after that we leased Jettas. Rabbit lasted until 88, might have repaired it but needed family car at the time.

What color's your new one???

Dark green. Have seen a couple of them around, from time to time, and we wave and smile at eachother!
