I saw them open for Rod Stewart in 87ish with the SNL/Blues Brothers band. GE Smith on lead guitar and a horn section. Blew RS right off the stage! Saw them again in 2017, same fabulous energy!
Huge fan girl here.

(82,849 posts)It flat disappeared for years, though. About the only Hall & Oates songs you heard on the oldies station were "She's Gone" and the horrid "Maneater." Then "You Make My Dreams" got resurrected somewhere along the way. Did it sneak into a movie soundtrack somewhere?

(20,161 posts)BTW, if you haven't checked out Live From Daryll's House, it' a lot of fun. He has guests on and they go back and forth doing one of Daryll's songs and then one of theirs. There are a bunch of clips on YouTube. Here's a couple I really like:
