5. What symptoms would cause you to have someone checked for COVID-19?

6. Fever, cough, and shortness of breath.

Those seem fairly common, but the truth is, I probably see an actual fever maybe six or seven times a year.

When people feel hot and sweaty, they think they have a fever. I even concede that they may feel 'feverish'. But if their temperature is not above 101 degrees Fahrenheit or 38 degrees Celsius, it's not a fever.

I also look at oxygen saturation, the level of oxygen in your blood. It's measured by the little thing they put on your finger when they get your vital signs. If its 95% or above, you're probably okay.

7. I don't think I've had a high fever since I had Hong Kong flu many years ago.

Which sucked, by the way, and is why I always get flu shots.

I'd just about crawl naked over broken glass to get to my local Walgreens for my flu shot. I don't ever want to be that sick again (and I hope COVID-19 isn't as bad).

Not drinking Corona. I don't think I've had a Corona in probably seven years. I remember the specific interval because there are pictures and witnesses.

Two very large glasses of Cabernet, two shots of Orange Smirnoff, and about 10mL of cannabis tincture...

20. If there's a vaccine for it, get it.

For the Pneumovax, standard of care is immunization if you're 65 or older.

Unless you're immunocompromised in some way. HIV, asthma/COPD, etc. Then get it before age 65.
