I've seen it once or twice, and I'd love to see this wonderful actress doing something other than the Bucket Woman.
(These days, I react pretty much like her terrified neighbors do.)

And he was wearing a shirt and tie and looked completely different. I've been so used to seeing him as Onslow, I had to do a double take when I saw what he normally looks like

The late Mary Millar, who played Rose in the later episodes of the show, was the original Madam Giry in Phantom the Opera. When I listened to some of the music from the soundtrack, I heard her and it struck me again as to the depth and diversity of talent that was reflected in the characters she played

This guy suffered quietly and the running joke was everybody knew it and kind of respected him for it.

Instead of a candlelight supper I think Richard should get a Victoria cross. You earned it buddy.

I read somewhere that Patricia Routledge did all her stunts herself -- no stuntwoman to climb awkward garden walls for Hyacinth.
