Chex mix and cottage cheese- today's lockdown experiment

Not bad. Salty and crunchy yet still cool.

Better than the hummus, coleslaw, Cholula, and mustard dish I put together previously. It’s wasn’t too bad really.

2. Just goofing around

We have ohhhh 3 months of food easily

I’ve goofed around some myself lately. But more along the lines of “desserts” including almonds and crushed heath bars in chocolate pudding. I’ll never get through this.

by layering in a meat or bean substitute, spaghetti sauce, and mozarella

6. I made One Pan Macaroni Lasagna the other day

Since I didn't have any lasagna pasta but did have a box of elbow macaroni.

It would have been just about as good without the beef and with just the cheeses, pasta, and sauce.

8. What's really funny is that I don't get along with tomato sauces very well

They tend to give me heartburn, so I don't eat dishes with them very often. The jar (I know, horrors!) of red sauce had been in the pantry a while and needed to be used up in my one time a year Italian red sauce dish.

Then my husband had to clear all carbs out of a friend's apartment and brought home two Marie Callander frozen dinners that happened to be Italian red sauce dishes. I wonder how long it will be until we cook those?

10. You need to make a bean pie!

I was watching a documentary about Malcolm X. They kept mentioning bean pies as fundraisers. I was thinking it was a can of beans in a pie crust. I was wondering if it was like a bean burrito in a pie crust? (No thanks..LOL)


However, it's a desert pie like pumpkin
