"Blade Runner" trailer, re-imagined and re-edited as an old-school noir film.
Perfect...

1. Wow...thanks, Aristus
One of my favorite movies of all time, in whatever configuration it's presented. I own several different versions. I wish someone would actually make the "classic noir" one.
It's such a pity that Sean Young didn't live up to what seemed to be her potential in this role. ![]() |

2. She was incredibly beautiful, and in this role at least, touchingly vulnerable.
It's a shame the actress herself was such a whack-job. Nobody wants to work with her anymore.
I saw her in a brief role in 'The Alienist'. It made me wonder if she had gotten help for her emotional issues. |

3. Thanks again! I didn't know "The Alienist" had been made into a movie.
Despite its grim subject matter, I enjoyed reading the book. I'll try to find the movie.

4. It was a limited series for one of the streaming services.
Very well made and acted. It portrays 1890's New York as a pretty grim place.
My one beef with the series is that it portrays Teddy Roosevelt, at that time NYC Police Commissioner, as an ineffectual wimp. Something Roosevelt was only in his childhood. |
