helicopters keep flying overhead, I'm fine. The neighborhood association warned us to put our trash and recycling containers in our garages and keep our garden hoses ready in case there was rioting in the area (so far there isn't), and I have done that, so I'm cool.

...being on furlough since March 20th. 2 mornings a week, instead of my usual 2 days a week. We have 3 office locations. The one I work in is seeing well visits only, which I admit suits me just fine right now. I’m recently 69 and developed atrial fibrillation last year, so I quite OK not being around sick people at the moment.

I am NOT looking forward to having to learn how to do telemedicine. I don’t trust it.

It's not fun, or medically satisfying. But we're reserving clinic time and exposure risk for patients with respiratory symptoms.

Other than my brief illness back in March, I've been going full-blast this whole time.

Once this is over, I'm taking a week or so off...

...tipping point. I was going to retire next summer. I may just move it up.

The interesting question arose about how to handle a telemedicine visit if you have a teenager who has a question about their genitalia. I am NOT going to look at someone’s junk on line. Just NO! I’m told there are secure ways to do this, but no way in hell. Anything can get hacked.

Not a bad reason to get into PPE's anyway.

A lot of my patients are working girls. I try to make sure I'm always there for them so they can get the care they need.

We are all together, happy enough to be going on. Have not seen anything on the news from downtown Chicago looks much different than the aftermath of a local sports team winning a championship....
