Just picked up a few items for the office at the Safeway in a rough neighborhood in Tacoma.

In-store mask policy strictly enforced. And everyone was complying.

The rich, white assholes of America are screaming, spewing, and bleating about their 'right' not to wear a mask. Or whimpering that they can't breathe with a mask on.

Meanwhile, the people for whom everyday life is a struggle for survival are masking up without complaint. They know what's really important. These are my people...

A mixed bag of masks and not masked. You'd think an apparently lefty store in a "lefty" community would have better mask wearing. But I think affluence is a marker.

I have to wear a mask my whole 12 hour shift. We all do. It’s part of our culture and we realize it’s not going away anytime soon

I notice we are getting good at reading smiles through the smile wrinkles as well as other facial expressions, through the eye area

It hard on the patients though, I make triple sure they know my name and can see my name tag. I always announce my self by name when entering

complaint. They know what's really important. These are my people"

Agree with you 110%. Maybe that's the difference, those who have never faced adversity in life are just oblivious. Well, I need them to grow up and be accountable as they are putting the rest of us at risk.

the mask wearing is getting worse by the week, go in a Wal-mart and maybe 50 percent are wearing masks.

in a Walmart yesterday, I noticed 50% wearing masks. That's an improvement from the 20% observed a couple of weeks ago.

Sherwin Williams store has big sign on the door - MUST wear masks and only 17 people in the store at a time. Everyone in the store including the four other customers had masks.

Publix, same thing, signs on the doors, one way aisles, and new today constant announcements about keeping masks on while in the store. Unlike previous shopping trips I saw no one without a mask!

Leon County has a strict policy right now, masks must be worn in public locations, and it seems people are complying when they did not before. Screw DeSantis and his idiocy!

Of course, we are the county where the capital of Florida is and we know how stupid GOP politicians are from long experience. It sucks to have them inflicted on this nice blue county by the voters elsewhere!
