Another holiday weekend in the house!

Not gonna venture anywhere outside with you-know-what lurking...

So I'm going to read "Rage" and the Michael Cohen book, courtesy of my local online library, and maybe do a jigsaw puzzle-what are you doing this weekend?

We still have tomatoes out. A freeze is coming tomorrow so today is the last warm day they will have to start "turning" which means they will ripen indoors. The rest is just clean up and prep for fall which is kind of late this year, was early last year.

From the looks of it we will be going into winter and staying there for a long one. The horses have been putting on their winter fur the last three weeks so it's coming soon and probably be a rather long winter.

I rely on that as much as the satellite info I use. The Sandhill Cranes left a little early as did the swans, blackbird murmurations are getting larger and they might be out of here by mid-week. Today was probably the end of 70F+ temps and winter chill within a week or two. I'm ready for it.

Throwing out tons of paid bills.

Mowing a bit more. Emptying flowerpots.

Testing the pond heater, my teeny tiny Koi are much bigger. Can't let the top of the pond freeze over or they may suffocate.

Oh, and on-line computer games.
