I cried as I posted it.

Quick story: couple of years ago, I took my then 13 year old granddaughter to see Bohemian Rhapsody. She was blown away.
I then reminded her that when she was two I gave her a Queen tee shirt dress with a purple tutu. She wore it everywhere.

Always, Freddie.

"You're gonna need a bigger boat (for these electoral college votes)!"

or the more traditional would do nicely:

I hate that tune, only because I've been hearing it for so many years and MSNBC uses it way too much.

I think the beginning tension and the resplendent finishing joy will be a PERFECT theme song for the night.

I hope.

Happy by Pharrell Williams.

Gonna dance all over my house!! Glass or two of Prosecco in my hand! Hell, I might just go buy a bottle. I have two small individual bottles left from New Year’s Eve. This night might deserve a bit more bubbly.

It moved me to tears. It amazes me that such beauty can exist in the world alongside such ugliness as we are seeing here in our own country. Why can't we rise above this?
