seeking her calf is just wrenching. The only thing I can compare it to is the horrific cries of a mother I experienced, watching her toddler after he'd gotten his foot caught in a escalator of a department store of the time. It took a while for store staff to disassemble the escalator to free him, though they turned it off immediately. Everyone in that store, customers and staff alike wer crying with her. I'll never forget it.
