During the eclipse in 2017 a couple had passed where we were set up, with their cat on a leash. At totality, the cat streaked by, trailing his leash. He'd freaked out, and took off, jerking the leash out of the owner's hand.

Fortunately, he ran back towards their car and climbed up a small tree next to it. One of the couple was able to get him down as the eclipse moved on.
