I had a coworker who had 2 dogs that competed in fly all tournaments. One was a border collie.

Here is my oldest with our shelter Aussie with a tail taking top Jr. Handler. She is a lot slower than a border collie, but she is very precise.

Border collies are so smart and energetic - I don't think I could manage one as a pet for exactly those reasons (they are smarter and more energetic than I am) but I do love to watch them. The dog's human has to be pretty athletic, too.
