This week the Romney campaign introduced "Paco", a taco-loving cartoon parrot, in hopes of appealing to Latino voters.

but these kinds of animated racist stereotypes were common when I was growing up in the 60s. Lots of ads and even children's cartoons had such characters. This parrot would have fit right in.

This video is, of course, at jab at Romney's seeming cultural cluelessness.
