how many repeats of the Thanksgiving meal have you had?

It was just my wife and I here, but I made the typical array - roast turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, peas, potatoes, pumpkin pie. Today I did the deed - took all the meat off the bones I could, boiled them to a stock, which will be used for a turkey rice tortilla soup for tomorrow night...but we managed to have the same meal three times (that's a record - a testament to social distancing and lack of help from family to eat it)

how about you?

I still have some broccoli rice casserole and green bean casserole that I will use as the basis for dinner tomorrow. Maybe add some chicken or tuna and a crumb topping.

I still have 2 skinny slices of pie for a snack tonight.

plus all the usual accoutrements. Dressing, mashed taters, gravy, creamed peas and cranberry sauce. Today I just finished making chicken enchiladas for the freezer and will have a repeat of thanksgivng tomorrow. That and a sandwich will finish off the chicken and the rest of the sides I will freeze.
I will miss my usual annual turkey soup but getting too old to safely handle a 20+ pound turkey by myself.

We had a chicken with all the traditional sides. We had one repeat, and there is enough in the fridge for a couple of sandwiches.

That is enough! There were only the two of us.

ready to cook it here shortly (probably Sunday), so it'll be a nice treat. I'll tell my SO to tell them (workplace) that perhaps they could give out the turkeys a little earlier so as to give us a little more time to thaw out the birds to cook properly. It was a very nice thing they did though, we weren't planning on getting a bird to cook, too much work, but since we got it anyways, we'll enjoy it still.

Never even had the "traditional TG meal," but have made four different turkey salads, including my favorite Sonoma (--usually chicken-- salad with grapes, celery, poppyseed dressing) and a curry salad. These will fill wraps for the next week or more.

There is nothing about 2020 that is standard, so, neither am I.
