(67,782 posts)One year they bought a piano for my sister, who was taking lessons at the time.
The first time he had to come to our house after that he took one look at it and his eyes lit up. After repairing the leak or whatever it was, he sat down and played for us for TWO hours, and he was great! Looking back now the way contractors and repair people are today, that would be unheard of.

(2,957 posts)I was going to be a baseball star / piano prodigy when I was young. But, I couldn't play baseball or the piano.
Now, this guy goes and does it. He totally stole my idea.
Sucks.

(20,572 posts)He even curves his fingers which most people self-taught don't do. He should really study music in college. Baseball is an iffy career choice.
