She had music lessons from a well-known teacher, though. But never performed in public. She also played the accordion.

One year they bought a piano for my sister, who was taking lessons at the time.

The first time he had to come to our house after that he took one look at it and his eyes lit up. After repairing the leak or whatever it was, he sat down and played for us for TWO hours, and he was great! Looking back now the way contractors and repair people are today, that would be unheard of.

I was going to be a baseball star / piano prodigy when I was young. But, I couldn't play baseball or the piano.

Now, this guy goes and does it. He totally stole my idea.

Sucks.

He even curves his fingers which most people self-taught don't do. He should really study music in college. Baseball is an iffy career choice.
