Blue Bloods:What is the Finnerty's 18 Year Scotch?

Blue Bloods Makes Finnerty's 18 a Must Buy

"Fans of the hit television show Blue Bloods may be searching online for the Finnerty’s scotch. After all, they make it look so delicious and perfect for the show. However, there is no such scotch whiskey in the world.

Like most of the alcohol in the show, as well as the rest of Hollywood, Finnerty’s is a fictitious scotch. In addition to making up names, the show is notorious for obscuring the labels and making bottles have the design of an infamous brand, but without flashing the real name.

Hollywood has become so popular at creating a list of fictitious beverages, that there are several lists online. While Finnerty’s 18 scotch has not hit the list, it will soon with more interest sparked online and people frantically trying to find a Finnerty’s whiskey for their house."

pay enough to feature their scotch on the show.

I can see Johnny Walker getting ticked advertising on that show only to have the clan chug down on Finnerty's 18.

Keep your right-wing ass away from my cherished, non-fictional Glenmorangie 12. (14, if I get lucky this Christmas.)

I'm partial to Glenmorangie's "Lasanta" (sherry cask finish, maroon label). But the entire brand is first-rate.

Woodford Reserve?

Trying to figure out how to take it up a notch for a bottle for my favorite man.

If you're looking for an upgrade from Woodford Reserve, my son-in-law's fancy preference is Blanton's ($99.00); his regular hooch is Noah's Mill ($60.00). Lots and lots of boutique bourbons have appeared in the last few years, plenty of good ones to choose from.

A: You can find Finnerty’s whisky within many stores across America or online at various authorized retailers such as Amazon or Total Wine & More just to name a few. "Either way, when it comes right down to it, it's not like the actors and actresses are actually drinking on set. Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg explained in an interview with People that the wine is really grape juice, and the scotch is actually iced tea."

American and Irish spell with an "e", Scotch and Canadian without--Irish whiskey, Scotch whisky. (general rule, if the country's name has an e, so does the spirit--Ireland vs Scotland)

And yeah, they should be drinking Irish!
