3. The new ones declare verbally 'FIRE Get out now' And are thrown away when dead.
Bought one that also alarms at Carbon Monoxide.
The Lithium battery is non replaceable. |

4. That chirp terrifies my dog for some reason and I have six in the house w vaulted ceilings
so, it is always a challenge to figure out which one is chirping. And, they don't all go bad at the same time--sometimes a year or more difference between them.

6. You need to buy a batttery tester. One of the handiest things I ever purchased and cheap.
or at least not expensive.
