Not to put too fine a point on it, but UPS sucks.

Just got an email informing me that I'll have to go to the UPS store tomorrow to pick up the package they didn't even try to deliver today, a very unappreciated task for someone with mobility issues. Repeating problem with them, can't help wishing that my suppliers would choose a different shipper. For those of us who have meds and medical supplies delivered, this is a matter of increasing concern. And yes, I went to their customer "service" link. After filling out their form and relating what the problem is, they casually informed me that the contact was discontinued because no agents are available.

Now I'm going to go bang my head on the wall for a while. Sheesh.

We need to get our postal service back.

Before everyone had GPS, Fedex and UPS used to have trouble finding my house because the numbering on the other side of the street is different. The USPS could always find me. I'm still getting meds through the USPS just fine.

stories to convey. I can also say that Amazon's own delivery service has been good. Since you are looking at pharmaceuticals can you get them through Amazon's new service? They also do carry quite a bit of medical supplies, depending on what you need, though, of course, medical wholesalers are cheaper.

And yes, I'll echo the comments above about how badly we need our USPS back to normal. They've ALWAYS been the most reliable.

3. I agree that stinks, but I think it may be your UPS terminal that is the problem, not UPS in

general. I know that does not ease your situation, but our UPS guys and gals have all been great---no complaints at all.

Maybe rattling the cage of someone at UPS higher up the food chain would get their attention locally. I know the pandemic has caused delays in some areas, but you should be getting your meds even if they take longer to arrive.

Good luck.

I did rattle a higher cage a bit over a year ago. At that time the driver on my route didn't like the new doorbell system in the apartment building, so he kept trying the old one that had been disconnected but not yet removed; I know this because he arrived when I was out retrieving my mail. I showed him the new system and explained its easy use, and he just shook his head and said he didn't like electronic stuff; I even pointed to the sign that said the old doorbells didn't work, and he just shrugged it off. After about a month of complaining I finally got a call from someone in management, and he told me that they were having trouble hiring good help (duh!) but that they would put a new driver on the route. It's been better sporadically since then, but not reliably so.

I buy a lot of stuff online. For the past two years, I have had a lot of items that, while being addressed correctly, go to off the wall places where they gather dust for a while then eventually get delivered. It is really a pisser if you paid for expedited shipping.... I had one item shipped from 3,000 miles away come to within ten miles of my house only to go back to the sender's Post Office, to begin the journey again. I have one incoming package that I am tracking now, that went to the wrong city, has disappeared into a regional office and has frozen for days. Some of the tracking would be hilarious if didn't want my items... My UPS service has been tolerable, they just toss stuff over my gate and keep driving. Fed Ex has been the best of the lot as far as I am concerned, but not a lot of shippers use them.

8. I hold that fuckstick Louis DeJoystick responsible

His USPS fuckery has overloaded UPS and FedEx and meanwhile hobbled the normal operations of the USPS itself -- tRump and DeJoystick should be held liable for all the damages done due to these delays...

our USPS and UPS are really great. Since the virus I shop a lot on Amazon, ebay, ranch 99 and our delivery has been lightning fast. FedEx on the other hand is awful.

10. Can you get your meds delivered from a local pharmacy?

Locally Rite Aid delivers my meds to my door.
And it is a free delivery.

Also locally UPS does an excellent job.
Knock on wood.
