A (now former) patient just came in, positive for COVID-19, and contacted just about every surface

she could reach.

She was diagnosed positive at one of the local emergency rooms this morning, and we didn't find out until after her rampage through the waiting room.

We threw her out, disinfected everything we could, reported it to the clinic manager, and banned her for life.

Goddamn some people...

1. I can't understand why she acted that way, my dear Aristus...

What a dreadful way for her to behave.

I'm so sorry.

2. Fear motivates the worst in some people.

I hope your waiting room was empty.

3. She should face charges, for endangering the public with her reckless actions. What's different

about her actions vs. a lunatic running around w/ a gun in public?

6. I'm so glad to see you have already gotten your second dose

A week after 2nd dose isnít enough but it is far far better than nothing. Hope the rest of the people around were also vaccinated.

7. Horrifying.

And a daily risk, I'm afraid.

8. I was in a medical waiting room a few days ago.

I'm sorry to admit that it took me a couple minutes to overcome my disappointment at there being no magazines there to read, and to figure out the reason.

9. Just as long as there was no TV with FOX News playing.

For a while, we had a TV monitor up in the waiting room, playing our organizational "This Is Who We Are" video on an endless loop.

Someone broke in one night and stole the monitor...

10. Good grief.

I have to wonder at the mentall state of one who would do that. And feel sorrow about it.

Nope! No TV, and that's fine with me. I don't use one aside from as a movie screen.

Should've brought a book, though.

12. A Sunday crossword would've been nice.

I'm glad you mentioned that!
