She'd come running and I'd have to give her a few chips to keep her happy.

My current little gray cat love Temptations treats - and she knows where I keep them. She will come running from across the house if she hears a bag crinkle like the treats bag. If she doesn't get a treat, she will use her paw to push my hand towards the shelf where I keep them.

In my house, it's been the girl kitties that are most demanding about their snacks!

My previous Lab came trotting into the kitchen when I opened up the cupboard door where the peanut butter was kept. Somehow she could tell the difference between that cupboard and all the others. I would give her a little taste if I got it out.

I may have a hard time managing snacking on my own, but there were certain unhealthy things I would stay away from during the day because she would be right there begging. She would come from anywhere in the house to where I was. Thankfully she wasn't a counter surfer, although she could have easily reached the counter, table, etc.

She also thought that anything purchased in a ziplock bag qualified as snacks for her.
