(10,866 posts)I want some place to go on vacation this summer. The Mrs & I are vaccinated now, and we want some where to go besides Hawaii. It looks like the rest of the world may still be locked down, so that leaves us with the USA.
Given that 43 states are trying to pass laws to eliminate democracy, what are the 7 remaining states? We don't want a dime of our money going to states that support stealing the next election.

(66,316 posts)Green secluded hills, a (mostly) liberal political landscape, lots of antique shops and bookstores. I've never been there, but the pics look lovely, and it's calling to me...

Halcyon days indeed. Ruined me for everywhere else!

(33,512 posts)...fac rhenium complex described in this paper, Enhanced Photocatalysis of Rhenium(I) Complex by Light-Harvesting Periodic Mesoporous Organosilica (Hiroyuki Takeda, Masataka Ohashi, Takao Tani, Osamu Ishitani, and Shinji Inagaki Inorganic Chemistry 2010 49 (10), 4554-4559) would work equally as well if we substituted technetium for rhenium?
If you have no opinion do you like the picture anyway?
Substitute francium for rhenium instead. It has a shorter half-life. The faster rate of decay can improve the energy transfer coefficient.

(33,512 posts)This complex converts visible light, not sub UV wave lengthes. In this case the long half life is a good thing.
