Aaron Rodgers hosting Jeopardy. What do you think?

He's very likeable, very low key. It's almost like he's not there.

I wouldn't pick him, but hubby likes him.

My pick out of the contenders so far would be katie Couric. She was breezy but at the right pace.

So far, who is your favorite?

he does his little coverage of the British teams. He's on Morning Joe. He's one of Joe's favorites. My son in law is also a big fan. I get a kick out of Roger and his little "new words." But getting someone "wolf blitzered" is perfect, IMO.

If I remember correctly just to add insult to the injury, the winner that day was a comedian. - Andy Richter I seem to recall.

Makes sense, he’s been immersed in it and gets it.

Couric slightly too perky and laughy and shrill, dr oz not horrible but not great and seems to be grifting for his charity. Ken was fair but producer guy was better. Aaron is ok but seems nervous and stiff.

They can do 2-week guest hosts forever and I’d be fine with it.

Don't quit your day job, Aaron.

I am enjoying this - it takes good timing some knowledge and a good patter to be a game show host. You don't just walk in off the street and do it.
Rachel Maddow would be a great game show host.

but if he was picked I would watch Jeopardy because the star are the Q&As.

I was never a big fan of Trebek's, but I did not watch the show for Trebek.

As for keeping his day job, my understanding is that Mr. Rodgers is a prodigious quarterback. I know that with age, quarterback'a talents fade. Do what you do best while you can, Mr. Rodgers.

When football is done there will surely be a myriad of opportunities for him. My guess is he will be on some Sunday morning football talker.

I doubt he cares much what I say.

I still think Rachel would be amazing.

I liked the producer best, then Dr. Oz (ick, but just going by his hosting ability for this), Aaron, Ken, then Katie was my least favorite. She sounded like she was talking to little kids. I find Ken to be a distractingly smarmy bastard, lol!
