1. We had one of those at work yesterday

The caller id said “PoliceOfficerCr.”

I said, “This is gonna be good.”

So far, no one has shown up to arrest us.

That was a few years ago though.

6. I get those in Canada as well and they do not seem to understand

that our agencies are not called the same as they are in the US. I just wish they were real people, haven't been able to use my fog horn, for hockey games, in a long time.

7. I get them all the time

Usually I hang up, but every now and then I go ahead and talk to a person. Inevitably they ask for my name and SSN. I tell them "Wait a minute. YOU called ME and said that there was a problem with my SSN. How come you don't already know it?" Then they hang up.
