I’ve got my grandfathers hairline, my great grandfathers hair color, my father’s height and my mother’s eyes.

How could they know it wasn't an intentional design spec, and not just Il Douche playing with his crayons on a late Friday afternoon.

I know they are common among calico cats but this one looks a likely specimen. They result from fraternal twins fusing together in the womb.

Independent, spirited, uniquely singular in personality. Would lay on my chest, but with her butt to my face. Would beg me to lift her to a branch on a tree then swat my hand. Loved to lick the foam from my cappuccino and lay on the computer monitor and watch me play games. Still miss her after many long years.

There are tabby bits, calico bits and ginger bits. Calico bits and ginger bits ought not be in the same cat.

Then again, my parents named me Thomas in a moment of prophetic insight.
