They call me the Bone Crusher

Going to see my friends and I got THAT excited that I lunged, all 4 kg of me, and pulled my human off her feet on a rough footpath. She has a broken left wrist and right pinkie finger. She called me Bad Gibby.

I've broken bones in the past and it was surely no fun.

However, that is one adorable pup! Congratulations! Hoping that she learned her lesson after injuring Mom!

We have a saying, "Gib don't care." Much like the honey badger, nothing fazes her. Every human or dog WILL be her friend and none can resist.

She's 17 months now. Funny, clever pup. It's bloody hard to type with fingers straped together

I adopted my Jack at 5 months and I'd forgotten what it was like to have a puppy! I trained the dog I grew up with all by myself and she could do anything - but Jack was also a little dynamo and this time I needed help, we went to "doggy class" - twice!

But your little Gib is sure a cutie and I'm sure she's already forgiven, taped-up fingers and all. And, as you know, they do calm down. My Jack turned 15 last month and is snoring next to me as I type this.

I don't know if you've ever seen my Jack, also on the small side, we went out to the groomer today.

What a sweetie. Have you noticed this peaceful groove that dog peoople share, knowing that our friends die long before we do and there are new companions to meet. I'm fucking this description up Rhi, but you know what I mean.

none of them will be forgotten and their memories live on in everyone who knew their human.

Between the pup I grew up with and when Jack found me, the dogs I adopted were seniors and I was never disappointed, plus two of my pups lived past 18. It's my greatest wish that Jack has at least that long. He's currently being treated for a persistent ear infection and I'm grateful every day that this is his only issue. And I think of my other guys each and every day. I've been there, too...

You were just excited to be outside walking with her and going to visit your friend. I hope she recovers quickly and continues to give you all the scratches behind the ears that you love. She still loves you Gibby!!!
