I put his thunder shirt on and he feels less scared comes out and sits on me and won't leave my side until the thunder stops.

Unless, of course, there's a particularly close lightning strike then the CRRRRRRRACK and/or KABOOM makes all of us leap out of our chairs or bed then we have to peel ourselves off the ceiling.

Some dogs just love having a kennel or crate to go hide out in from time to time.
