1. That sums it up pretty good.

If I didn't know better I'd say Yellow Jackets fly ass first for the number of times I've been instantly stung with an arm out the car window, on my face riding a motorcycle, or worse yet when one gets in your helmet. Damn I hate those aggressive little shits.

2. Years ago I got stung by a wasp while pulling out a window air conditioner.

I went downstairs to the kitchen, and put a freshly cut onion on the sting (which hurt like a bastard). Once it stopped hurting, I grabbed a fly swatter, went back upstairs, and beat that thing until it was in too many pieces to pick up.

3. No mention of hornets.

I'd like to forget them, too, but my last close encounter was unforgettable.

I admit that I escalated the tension by using a fully extended pole saw to knock down a nest in my tractor garage, but damn... one made a beeline for my exposed forearm and stung me before I could even take a step toward my planned escape route.
