A big local art museum, Walker Art Center, is holding an Internet cat video film festival on August 30. I must go to this. Eat your hearts out, those of you who don't live here. Internet cat video festival!!!

1. The Twin Cities are great.

Visited a friend in St. Paul last year and had a good time. Both Mnpls. museums were excellent. Just not quite as good as the Detroit Institute of Art.

17. To be fair, the I-35 bridge collapse wasn't technically

the fault of Timmy "The Tool" Pawlenty. It had some design flaws in the first place, and it was carrying a lot more traffic than it was ever intended for when it was built. However, Timmy cut infrastructure funding to the bone, and the question remains whether better and more inspections could have discovered the problem before the thing went down. I doubt the current governor will allow things to go to hell like Timmy did, even though he has to fight with a GOPer legislature.

corridors up high, so you never have to leave the air-conditioning!
