(7,406 posts)Neil had full range of the house. Once Melanie got mauled during the filming of the movie Roar, her mother created a big cat sanctuary outside of their home. Although it wasn't Neil that mauled her, but another lion during filming, Tippi finally decided that Neil didn't belong in the home.
Also, while filming Roar, a lioness wouldn't let go of Melanie. This attack was left in the movie.

(7,406 posts)Dennis Weaver and his wife hired Michael Reynolds to help build their Colorado Earthship home. They lived there for about 15 years until their daughter-in-law Lynne passed away. They listed the Earthship home for sale in 2004 and moved to Malibu to be closer to family.
The 1st video is about 27 minutes long.

Afterwards, Moon asked Annette to fix him steak & eggs.
When she objected, he replied "If you don't like it, you can F#ck off!"
Those were his last words....He took 32 Clomethiazole tablets & went to bed.
The next afternoon, Annette found him dead.

(41,915 posts)At least, he was mostly exactly as people saw him on TV. He was a really good guy, and though that personality of his certainly varied and he had quiet, serious times, he was just a dialed-down Richard. Not to mention wicked smart.
And no, none of knows what happened. His manager does but hes never talked. I havent heard from him in years.
