Hi,
Thanks for the much needed laugh this afternoon. Funny review, especially the last two paragraphs. Doubt if I could find it to try it around here.

Peace

a truly VILE Jamaican concotion that delivered its mule-kick hangover after half of a 12 ounce bottle.

They never affected me that way. Must've been some nasty impurities and/or additives in that one.

alcoholic. It could have been skunky but it was so bad it was hard to tell.

I've had a Trippel Teufel Belgian-style ale on tap, and that was smooth as silk though it packed a wicked wallop. It myst have been in the 12-14% range.

Not all that exciting. But pretty decent.

Amazing what a nation can accomplish when it isn't being pounded with high explosives 24/7, isn't it?

A truly undrinkable example of a cask ale from the worst brewery I've ever come across. It was actually a relief when Ridley's got taken over by Greedy King, who promptly closed the brewery down and put their own beers in Ridley's pubs.

Greedy Kerching are still a terrible brewery, and their habit of taking over other breweries and ruining their beers doesn't endear them to us beer drinkers who can remember Old Speckled Hen when it was actually nice.

Greedy Kerching IPA may be the top selling UK Cask beer, but it's still an extremely poor beer that should get Greedy Kerching sued for false use of the term "IPA".

So to sum up this was a case of a really crap brewery taking over a really abysmally crap brewery.

I'm grateful that they've left the Belhaven line pretty much alone. That one at least doesn't seem to have suffered much.
