Yesterday my neighbor gave me the last 2 books of the 50 Shades of Grey series.

She gave me the first one which we discussed here last week.

I was flipping through the second one last night and laughing once again.

The Penthouse forums were more believable and well-written than this shit.

*** hangs her head in shame ***

Honestly it's Erotica written in a 6th grade reading level.

Although I doubt I would put this on a 6th grader reading list.

BTW - it's not Alexander Skarsgard that I see as Christian Grey - it's Eric Northman. They wrote Grey the same way they write Northman for True Blood.

I've seen Skarsgard in a few movies and he's nothing like Northman.

I'm no prude, but I got more turned on last night seeing Jason's body than I did reading the first book.

The neighbor who gave me the books had one of those "toy" parties last year which I attended and yes, purchased some stuff.

Anyway, loved Jessica's makeup when she was talking to Tara at the bar. And the Hoyt thing? WOW!

My husband has a sudden thing for redheads (I'm blonde)--I wonder why?
