that captures that part of his anal retentive demeanor when
he gets jittery and flustered and hyper-defensive, when confronted.
In the back of my mind, he reminds me of an over defensive child, which I certainly
hope they draw out somehow during the debates.
Weird, slimy, just don't do it for me.

perfect example - I am sure every single advisor told him not to remodel the beach house since he has
a "big money image" issue. But he did it anyway. Shows a authoritarian streak like if you read Vanity
Fair Feb 2012, how he mapped out that route meticulously from Boston to Ontario - the famous Seamus
dog deal. What worried me more was that he knew exactly where they would stop for gas along the
way and warned his family - THERE WOULD BE NO EXCEPTIONS. Who does that?

There is something strangely uninflected there. He says very different things in the same tone. Pass the mustard! This means war! Flowers are pretty! Dont tread on me! she wrote. Its all the same tone, the same level of import and engagement. Which it would be if youre sort of
well, if you see issues as entities to deploy as opposed to think about and weigh.

(9,214 posts)A few days ago some how the Honeymooners came up on a thread. Someone didn't like Gleason because he often threatened to send Alice to the moon.
That person was probably too young to have watched the shows when they were originally on TV.
There were several things the poster didn't know about Gleason's character.
First, it was a TV show.
He loved his wife.
He respected his wife.
He never hit anyone, ever.
His character was all hot air.
Gleason was a genius. And the other three main characters weren't too bad either.
