I want the C but we are leaning toward the V because of space. Any information about likes /dislikes would be appreciated.

I have heard they are plug-in now so mileage could be big.

(22,308 posts)so next year will work
I thought you might be buying sooner.
Ford seems to be introducing models to directly compete with the Prius as well as the Volt and the Leaf.
Next year could have some very interesting auto sales.

(37,648 posts)So I looked to see what kind of car that was, because it was so pretty and practical. It was that new Prius V!
I'm going to check it out maybe next year.

(3,521 posts)the larger Prius is the one I would buy. And it has been restyled and is no longer the ugliest car on the planet.

(62,387 posts)for another year - but our old car crapped out so we had to buy.
The Prius V was out of our price range.
ETA - we wanted to wait because I truly believe there will be some great hybrid, possibly real electrics out soon.

(3,521 posts)I have a Pontiac Vibe - a Toyota Matrix under another name. It is a great, economical car too. Do you get satellite radio with your Prius? I did with the Vibe and absolutely LOVE it. Best thing since bottled beer. Have fun.

(62,387 posts)but I am actually very disappointed in Sirius radio. I told the telephone sales guy i wouldn't pay over $5/ month for it.
One thing I have been amazed at is the decade music channels. I grew up in the 50s - 70s. On these stations I have heard many, many songs I have never heard by artisis I have never ever heard of. I had hoped for some Beatles, Stones etc and get some strange stuff I have never heard.
Almost seems like those all christmas song channels that play one good song for every four clunkers.
And it is nice to have lefty radio, but Alex Bennet over Steph?

(3,521 posts)I love 50s and 60s music. Lately they have been playing a lot of obscure stuff but this is kind of unusual. You'll hear a lot of Buddy Holly, Everlys, Elvis etc if you keep listening. Check out BB Kings Bluesville - I forget the channel #. It is wesome if you like the blues.
