decided that she got the "don't brush me" message across better by chewing my hand instead, followed by slapping the brush out of my hand. She really, really hates it.

The cat before her was just the opposite. He loved being brushed so much that he came right up to me as soon as I picked up the brush or comb, as if begging me to do it.

You didn’t notice that they have the cat completely swaddled. He is bundled up tight and can’t move his legs. He doesn’t look happy to be there. Just accepting it because he doesn’t have a choice.

First of all it would have taken an hour of time and a pint of blood to get the cat in the restraining blanket. Then I wouldn't have had the strength to pick up the clippers.

I've very afraid of a sharper implement because he is non-too-pleased, and very quick
