Usually classified as "semi-aggressive" the ones I have had in freshwater aquariums have been very territorial (especially when protecting her eggs). Small fish don't stand a chance.

She's no angel.

it can generate electric shocks of around 600 volts, so I think "electric eel" is a good name for it. :-O

Oops, misread the caption. It's electric, but it's a knifefish, not an eel.

Sabre-tools were a distinct sub-family of cats that branched off very early that specialized in hunting large prey. the huge canines were used to eviscerate. Then humans hunted the megafauna into extinction, the sabre-tooths lost their prey and so they went extinct, too.
