Cats can be smarter than you think!

Saw this on another message board:

Now, there's nothing unusual about chow hound kittehs chewing open a bag of cat food on the counter, spilling the bag over and nomming away.

However, Sylvia and Norma have elevated the process to High Art.

See, I left this bag of cat food on the counter, and, to all appearances, it sat undisturbed for several days...until I grabbed the bag to refill the dispenser.

It was only then that I noticed the neat hole opened in the back, and that nearly all the food was gone.

So, not only did they nearly empty the bag, but managed to do so:

1) Without moving the bag noticeably;

2) Without leaving telltale kibble lying about.

This is what I call TALENT.

Now maybe your kittehs can explain why there is an ad for Crazy Sheriff Joe in the Lounge.

not to mention devious.

What I love is there was no clue, no hint, no telltale evidence. Gotta love 'um for that.

Might have mice.

I had box of ceral that had a small hole in the back.

I never noticed it because I didn't eat the ceral.

The box was empty, just a small hole in the back.
