Wow! Five!

Five juvenile cardinals at the feeder this year.

Same Cardinal male and female pair seems to nest here every year. (Past 3 years anyway)

Three female two male. Big family. Good job Mom and Dad!

I've seen the dad but not the mom feeding. I only look at the feeder infrequently.
And to raise FIVE young surely she must be OK.

1. Wow, we haven't seen cardinals since Spring.....

and we just took down our oriole feeder. I'm jealous I love the Cardinals, but, I guess if we'd feed them we'd see them huh??

2. I love how the male feeds the female when she's brooding. (right term?)
