Who's seen "The Leftovers"?
I've heard great things but I haven't spoken with anyone who's actually seen it....
Thanks for any feedback....

1. I watched it and really liked it a lot.
It’s weird and different, which made me like it all the more.

3. Same showrunner did HBO's Watchmen, which was the best TV I've seen in a long time
I believe some of the cast from Watchmen were in Leftovers as well. But I also haven't seen it...

4. I was very triggered by the people in white who
didn't talk and smoked constantly.
I never understood what their point was, and just wanted to do violence to them!! |

7. Very good, very depressing
The entire show is a meditation on grief and what it does to people. I started watching it about a month after my father died not knowing much of what it was about. It can be pretty intense.
I recently attempted to watch it again with my partner, having a few years removed. I wondered if I'd see it/enjoy it with a different mindset. He tapped out early on. I think it's one of the best shows ever made, but it's not for everyone. |
