The year, if I had to guess, based on photo quality and such, would be about 1960 give or take. Maybe '63. Sorry... best I can do.

1961.
Here is the caption:
Singer Bobby Darin stands beside a hand-made automobile called the "Bobby Darin Dream Car," unveiled on March 31, 1961, in Hollywood, California. Owner Andrew Di Dia, who designed and built the $150,000 car, will take it on a nationwide tour.

Now, your turn to put up a trivia photo.

and car is a handmade one...amazing that someone went to all that trouble to hand make a car that looks like a mating of a Cadillac and an Edsel.

"Singer Bobby Darin stands beside a hand-made automobile called the "Bobby Darin Dream Car," unveiled on March 31, 1961, in Hollywood, California. Owner Andrew Di Dia, who designed and built the $150,000 car, will take it on a nationwide tour. "

I have challenged kayak johnny to come up with the next trivia photo.

I actually think it's a cool-looking car, but my price point would be a bit lower...
