Feel like both feet are left feet. And maybe both legs are broken. Those of us in the nursing staff definitely feel that way. 😩

5. I don't have many encounters with unvaccinated patients.

Most of my patients know that when I tell them to get their immunizations, they get their immunizations. I've only had one flat-out refusal, and she doesn't come around to the clinic anymore. I guess she got tired of saying 'no'.

One salutary effect of the pandemic: I used to have to beg and cajole a lot of my patients to get their flu shot when flu season comes around every year. These last two years, I've had patients coming in, begging to get their flu vaccine.

The hospital declared emergency staffing, so all the old staffing rules have gone bye-bye.
