Crews allegedly working on local power situation.

(34,438 posts)About Sen. Kaines getting stuck on I-95 for more than 20 hours? I dont want to blame the victim, and Im glad hes safe and appreciate how dedicated he is to attending an important meeting in DC, but I cant imagine trying to drive from Richmond to DC on Monday. Per Gov. Northam, several tractor trailers jackknifed on I-95, and the state had resources headed to rescue people, but couldnt get to them due to conditions. I hope but think its unlikely that the incoming Rethug governor will develop a better plan for disasters like this.
